The Levico's Spa
| The modern spa centre -heart of our spa- is located in Viale Vittorio Emanuele, in the middle of the touristy Levico, near the old town and the pedestrian area. Here you will find the management, the reception, the clinics, and the areas of care, beside the bar area and a shop selling products containing thermal waters. This place was the subject of a long phase of restructuring and modernization. Today it is a well-equipped, bright and modern place of care. All cycles of treatment are fully automated and conducted through a dedicated and comprehensive information system that applies individual therapeutic parameters, established by the Health Department and in agreement with the National Health System. The areas of care and related structures A) THE MUD BATH THERAPY DEPARTMENT - It has 63 cabins for the mud bath therapy at high automation including an individual relaxation room - It provides up to approximately 400 mud therapies and 1200 daily inhalation treatments daily. - It has a warehouse equipped with 18 silos of mud which can hold 330 cubic meters of mud (about 500,000 kg)) - It has a laundry room capable of washing 360 kg of laundry simultaneously - there are approximately 185,000 services in a season B) THERMAL HYDROMASSAGE DEPARTMENT - a new addition in 2009 - it has 7 modern cabins for balneotherapy coupled with hydromassage beside a room for relaxation and massages - are accessed by booking and paying a surcharge C) INHALATION TREATMENT DEPARTMENT - it was delivered completely renovated and expanded in 2008 - it provides fully automated cycles of 88 stations that can deliver, at management discretion, both inhalation treatment and aerosols. In the area of care, we also constructed a separate department for children (up to 14 years) that has 8 more locations automated In the inhalation treatment department, the following treatments are practiced by means of specialized personnel: - Micronized nasal douche (number 26 posts)) - Sonic aerosol - Nasal irrigations (number 12 posts) D) PHYSIOTHERAPY DEPARTMENT The most modern equipment for the treatment of problems related to chronic inflammatory osteoarticular are available to patients. The following key therapies are aplied: - Physiotherapy - Kinesitherapy - Tens - Iontophoresis - Laser - Diadynamic - Ultrasound - Electrostimulation E) PHYSICAL REHABILITATION AND PHLEBOLOGY DEPARTMENT It is the absolute novelty of 2009. It is a large department consisting of: - Rehabilitation pool with wall bars, hydromassage and swimming against current; - Kneipp path for the mild treatment of circulatory disorders of the lower limbs with whirlpool and upstream waves; - Gym with various equipment for rehabilitation and fitness; - Dry and wet area changing rooms; - Relaxation areas; - Showers; - Loungers. The access to this department, until its agreement with the National Health System, is available with a fee payment for adults. F) CLINICS In the spa, there are over 10 clinics available both to doctors who carry out visits of acceptance and to the specialists.
