| A rare 19th century ville d'eau, the apple of Levico's eye are its spas and are internationally renowned amongst the medical community for the therapeutic efficacy of their waters, which are unique in Italy thanks to their iron and arsenic mineral components. The lake, bearing the name of the town, is to be found at its feet, fjord-shaped, ideally suited to fishing, rowing boats and peaceful swims. Located right behind it, at 1,500 m above sea level, Vetriolo features caves surrounded by fir woods, which shade the thermal spring water. |
